Temple of the Feathered Serpent
2020 - present
Painting is my playground, the place where I am free to create and set my own rules. Color is what fuels my creativity, the emotional right hemisphere of my brain. Composition serves as the foundation that sets the boundaries and allows my ideas to flow, the analitycal left hemisphere.
In my paintings I intend to integrate both poles to achieve something that surpasses my original vision. I hope you enjoy it!
Painting inspired by a photo I took of my brother in Vienna in 2015.
Color studies of 2 great photographers: american William Egglestone and my teammate Joel Hernández.
These are 5 studies I made applying limited color palettes.
Sketches and final painting of Prince.
2 orientalists painters I love: french Jean-Leon Gerome and russian Vasily Vereshchagin. To the right a study of spanish Joaquín Sorolla's work.
Paintings inspired on where I live in Punta del Este, Uruguay. I am very lucky to live close to the sea.
Moments prior to stepping into the jungle in Peru, and some painting and color studies.
Three paintings I made in 2019: an arab market, a bus in Buenos Aires and my wife Pilar.
Some still-life digital paintings.
I love painting gauchos.
